Additional Details
A standard 50% payment is required to reserve your wedding date. Payment in full or installment plans may be available upon request. You may upgrade your services at any time up to 30 days before your wedding. A 50% payment is required for any upgrades at the time of the change, with the remaining balance due 30 days prior to your wedding date.
Due to increased demand for certain wedding dates, some team members have minimum booking requirements for peak dates. For example, DJ Topedo requires a $6,000 minimum for peak wedding dates (Saturdays in May, September, and October) and a $7,000 minimum for holidays and holiday weekends. Couples may reach these minimums by including DJ enhancements and add-ons as part of their package; however, live musician services are not eligible to count toward these minimums.
DJ Topedo & Company maintains a deliberately limited annual portfolio, accepting only a select number of weddings each year. This allows us to deliver the highest level of preparation, creativity, and attention to every celebration.
Travel fees are calculated from each team member’s home base. The first 100 miles round trip are included. After the first 100 miles, a travel fee of $2 per mile will apply. For example, an event located 100 miles away would incur a $200 travel fee. Some team members operate within maximum travel radiuses, while others are available for weddings nationwide or worldwide. Travel fees are calculated per team — for example a DJ team, videography team, photobooth team, or enhancement/add-on team (if applicable). Each team travels independently based on their location, which is why travel fees may vary.
Our standard travel structure applies to events within 500 round-trip miles. Events beyond 500 round-trip miles are considered destination weddings and are booked at 2.5× our standard pricing. Our destination wedding rate is all-inclusive and accounts for all travel-related costs including transportation, flights, lodging, and equipment freight.
