Our all-inclusive DJ packages start at $2000 (4 payments of $500)

25% down (4 installments, no interest/fees)
50% down (50% month before wedding)

How much Wedding DJ and Videography experience does DJ Topedo & Company have?
DJ Topedo & Company has provided DJ and Videography services for hundreds of weddings all over the DC, Maryland, Virginia area, and beyond!
How many hours of service do the DJ/Videography Packages include?
Our DJ packages cover up to 6 hours of service time, including ceremony & cocktail hour. You can always add additional time if needed.
Our videography packages cover up to 8 hours of service time. You can always add additional time if needed.
How do we communicate with our wedding DJ/videographers leading up to our wedding day?
DJ Topedo & Company utilizes a planning app. You can quickly create your timeline, answer questions, request music, and review playlists with recommendations!
Does DJ Topedo & Company provide MC services?
Yes, being a fun DJ/MC is essential to our business. We love getting people excited by bringing energy through our announcements and guest interactions. We love boosting the dance floor vibe by encouraging guests to put their hands up, jump, etc. Let us know how interactive you want us to be on a scale of 1-10 using our planning app, and we'll make that happen for you!
How far in advance do I need to book DJ Topedo & Company?
If your wedding is on a Saturday during peak season within the next two years, it's time to book now! If your wedding is on the weekend within the next year and a half, it's time to book now!
Does DJ Topedo & Company provide wireless microphones for the wedding ceremony?
Yes, you have a choice of wireless handheld or lavalier (lapel)

What are the differences between T-bar dance lighting, LED pixel tube lighting, uplighting, and intelligent lighting?
T-bar Dance Lighting is a bar of lights set up behind the DJ booth and directed to the dance-floor area only. These lights are included in some of our DJ Packages by default because they help create a lively, exciting environment on the dance floor. Please note: these lights will not be in sync with the dance music; instead, they change colors/patterns in auto mode.
LED Pixel Tube Lighting is a modern and stylish approach to standard dance floor lighting. 4 Silm LED Pixel Tubes are set up behind the DJ booth and directed to the dancefloor area. The tubes are synchronized to provide eye-catching visual designs, all while illuminating your dance floor with a soft wash effect! LED Pixel Tube Lighting is in the Gold DJ Package by default because it significantly impacts the dance floor environment.
Uplighting is a popular lighting effect created by strategically placing lighting fixtures on the floor around the venue's perimeter and pointing them upwards. You are thus creating the result of "uplighting." Uplighting is a very effective way to improve the ambiance of an event space dramatically. One significant benefit is that our uplighting is fully customizable! You can pick virtually any color for dinner, and then we can 'live control' the lights during dancing. 'Live control' means we can change the colors and patterns of the lights utilizing DMX lighting software to match your dance music. We can also program the lights in advance to make various patterns at certain moments throughout the night.
Intelligent lighting refers to our highly sought-after enhanced lighting add-on featuring 360-degree moving spotlights on glowing totems. Intelligent lights have automated and mechanical abilities far exceeding our standard dance floor lighting. There are four main ways we can use intelligent lights. At most weddings, we use them to...

change live to the music during dancing
We 'live control' our intelligent lights, meaning they will move with the dance music utilizing our DMX lighting software. In addition, we program our intelligent lights ahead of time to adapt to various venue spaces.
Is Uplighting Necessary At My Wedding?
We’ve been to hundreds of weddings and can tell you this- uplighting WILL enhance your reception experience! How?! Our uplights will make your reception space feel more fun and lively!
In addition, getting our uplighting will give you more freedom than the existing venue lighting. Not only does uplighting highlight the venue in ways traditional lighting cannot, but it also removes any worry of harsh fluorescents that can negatively impact your decor and overall space.
Another benefit is that our uplights are fully customizable! We typically have our clients choose one static color for dinner, and then our uplights change colors with the music once dancing starts!
For most weddings, uplighting should be mandatory because the lights can take reception experiences to the next level!
What if there’s an emergency and my DJ/Videographer(s) can’t make it to our wedding?
One of our other DJ/videographer team members or associates will provide services in an emergency.
Does DJ Topedo & Company carry insurance?
Yes, up to $2M. Your peace of mind is important to us.
Does DJ Topedo & Company work holidays?
Yes, but there may be minimums set on certain holidays including…

Yes, DJ Topedo travels all around the US and internationally for weddings. Please contact us for an accurate quote!

Are there any travel fees?
We do not impose travel fees for weddings within a 75-mile radius of central Maryland.
